What's In My Bouquet?
We update this website page every week depending on what’s blooming on our farm! Curious about a flower you don’t see on the page? Feel free to DM us on Instagram or email—we’re always happy to talk flowers!
Statice
An old-fashioned flower with an outstanding vase life. Statice dries exceptionally well and is safe for cats.
Bupleurum
Also called “throw wax”, bupleurum has a history in traditional medicine. We love its unusual shape and charteuse color.
Cosmos
We grow three varieties of cosmos. Oftentimes we find bees napping on them during early morning harvest. They have a relatively short vase life but appear to be cat and dog safe.
Dahlias
Dahlias come in a vast array of colors and petal forms. We grow dozens of different varieties on the farm.
Sunflowers
A summer classic! The petals are edible and they are safe for cats and dogs.
Celosia
Celosia comes in a variety of bright and bold colors and adds a fun feathery flair. Cat and dog safe.
Raspberry Greens
We grow two types of raspberries on the farm—but only for their foliage! Berries are a side perk while we harvest.
Zinnias
A summertime classic! We grow over a dozen varieties. Safe for cats and dogs.
Strawflower
A papery flower with a delightful crunchy texture. Try hanging it upside down to dry—it will keep its shape and color!
Other unpictured items in our bouquets this week: frosted explosion grass, amaranth, eucalyptus, oregano, bunny tail grass, snapdragons, gaura, scabiosa, China asters, everlasting ammobium.
