Sip and Arrange Workshop 8/30

Join us for a casual sip and arrange floral workshop!

We will be meeting on Sunday, 8/30 at Duality Brewing (715 NE Lawrence Ave) at 12 PM in their outdoor space. Each ticket includes enough stems for an abundant vase arrangement plus one beverage (wine, beer, and N/A options available). Participants will be able to purchase more beverages onsite.

We will walk through all our different seasonal blooms, discuss color theory, and show the basics of floral design. After that, participants will be free to select their own flowers and get creative!

Please bring your own vase and gloves if you have sensitivities. If you have any accommodation needs, please reach out before registering. We are able to accommodate a limited amount of cat-safe arrangements upon request.

Come spend a late summer afternoon playing with flowers and sipping on an ice-cold bevy!

During this workshop, we’ll walk you through color palettes, balancing focals with filler and foliage, and our favorite techniques for vase arranging. You’ll get to pick all your own florals and get 1:1 support learning how to arrange them in the vase.

Tickets include:

  • Enough locally grown, no-spray stems for a large vase arrangement.

  • One drink (wine, beer, and N/A options available) from Duality Brewing. Additional beverages can be purchased onsite during the workshop.

  • Tools to use during the workshop (clippers and buckets).

  • Good vibes :)

What you should bring:

  • Your own vase (if you prefer to make a hand-tied bouquet, no vase is needed!)

  • Gloves, if preferred (some stems can be irritating to the skin)
